Despite the public presentation being pushed back, the planning, sports and state property commissions will meet in the coming hours and be presented with Inter and AC Milan’s plans for their proposed new stadium according to a report from Tuttosport.
The issues of urban importance and the more general aspects of the project will be examined in depth and as soon as this in depth study is completed, the project will be taken to the city council, where public interest in the new stadium project must be confirmed.
The two clubs will be asked to provide a price list for the new stadium amid concerns that ticket prices will sky rocket and cause some fans to miss out. It is understood that the clubs will spend around €1.2 billion on the entire project and are looking into finding a sponsor to sell the naming rights of the new stadium to.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to detail that it will also be explained to the commission why the two clubs are against the renovation of San Siro with one of the main reasons being having to play elsewhere for a number of years.
