Antonio Conte has equalled the best league start of his career but has no intention of stopping at that, according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Conte has led Inter to four wins from four matches in Serie A and has a fifth straight victory in his sights with the Nerazzurri set to play host to Lazio at San Siro tomorrow night.

If Conte is to succeed in getting that fifth victory, he will still have a few games to go before he can set a new record for the best start to a league season by an Inter manager.

The fifth victory will put him level with Roberto Mancini but he will need another three wins after that still to overtake legendary Inter manager Helenio Herrera.

During the 1966/67 season, Herrera lead his Grande Inter side to seven consecutive victories to begin the season before the run was ended the following week as the Nerazzurri drew 0-0 with Roma.
