One of the greatest differences between Inter this season and Inter last season, is the number of goals that have come from the midfield, a report from Rome based news outlet Corriere dello Sport details.
Of Inter’s 10 goals scored in their five matches across all competitions this season, six of those goals have come from midfielders.
Surprise star Stefano Sensi and Marcelo Brozovic both have two each whilst Nicolo Barella and Antonio Candreva have both grabbed one apiece.
Striker and club record signing Romelu Lukaku has scored three of the other four goals with that final goal remaining to strike partner and Argentina international Lautaro Martinez.
The report goes on to explain that nearly two in every three goals scored by Inter have come from the midfield, which is a huge upgrade on last season, where the figure was closer to one in every four goal – with Ivan Perisic scoring the majority of those goals.
