Corriere della Sera have examined how Inter manager Antonio Conte’s usage of his Summer signings has differed to that of AC Milan boss Marco Giampaolo.

At this early stage of the season, Conte has afforded ample space to many of his Summer additions, with five of the seven Summer signings appearing in Serie A action already. Romelu Lukaku, Nicolo Barella, Alexis Sanchez, Diego Godin and Stefano Sensi have all appeared for a combined total of 1031 minutes.

Six of the seven players have featured in the Champions League, on top of the five above, Valentino Lazaro has also featured with Cristiano Biraghi the only player yet to feature whatsoever.

This is very much different to Giampaolo, who has limited the Rossoneri’s arrivals during the Summer transfer window to just 270 minutes. Ismael Bennacer has featured the most whilst Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao have not featured anywhere near as much as expected.
