Legendary Italian striker Paolo Rossi has shared his views on some of the top strikers currently plying their trade in Serie A.

The former Italian international firstly shared his views on the foreign strikers.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is one that stands out. Romelu Lukaku put on a display in the Milan derby. Krzysztof Piatek has only scored a penalty but it is still too early to judge him this season. Edin Dzeko is reliable and Fernando Llorente compliments Dries Mertens well,” he said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

He then discussed the Italian strikers that have caught his eye.

“When it comes to Italians, Andrea Belotti and Ciro Immobile are good. Lorenzo Insigne has been scoring more with Carlo Ancelotti, but national team manager Roberto Mancini does not yet have his striker, I think he is still looking for him.”

He concluded by speaking on Mario Balotelli, who joined Brescia over the Summer transfer window.

“He is a mystery. Mancini has left the doors open to him but now it will depend on his physical condition and how he will play in the league. It is now or never for him.”
