Inter manager Antonio Conte will deploy his Inter in a 3-4-2-1 system for tonight’s Serie A match at home to Lazio according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The change in formation will be one of four changes that Conte makes to the side that started the 2-0 Derby della Madonnina victory at the weekend.
Having recovered from the back injury he recently sustained, Antonio Candreva will find himself back in the starting XI and he will take the place of Danilo D’Ambrosio at right wing back.
Conte wants a physical presence in the middle of the park which is why he is to drop Nicolo Barella in favour of Matias Vecino, who will partner Marcelo Brozovic.
Matteo Politano will come in after a few good appearances off the bench and will partner Stefano Sensi in behind Romelu Lukaku.
Inter predicted starting XI (3-4-2-1): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Kwadwo Asamoah; Matteo Politano, Stefano Sensi; Romelu Lukaku.
