Inter maintain their perfect record in the Serie A after defeating Lazio 1-0 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Antonio Conte’s men were unable to repeat the excellent derby performance but on the other hand they were up against a much better side in every aspect of the pitch.
The Nerazzurri took control from the beginning of the match and tried to impose themselves on the pitch but Lazio defended well and created a few chances which forced Samir Handanovic to demonstrate why he was awarded the best goalkeeper of the Serie A award.
However, in the end all that was needed was an excellent Cristiano Biraghi cross to reach Danilo D’Ambrosio’s head for the only goal of the game.
