Corriere dello Sport have revealed some of the details involved in the joint plan from Davide Manica and Cmr for Inter and AC Milan’s proposed new stadium.

Much has been seen when it comes to the rival bid from American architecture firm Populous but very few details have come out about the Manica-Cmr project until now.

The main feature of the stadium is two intersecting rings, one blue and one red, which obviously will signify the two clubs that would be calling the stadium their home if Manica-Cmr win the race.

The stadium will have a variable capacity starting at 60,000 but able to rise to 65,000 due to there being space left for more seats to be added as and when required.

Corriere dello Sport go on to reveal that with thanks to 16,000 mobile panels, it will be possible for outside of the stadium to change colours dependent on who is playing at home.

It will be a sustainable stadium too, capable of producing energy from renewable sources and a stadium which will have the LEED certificate.
