Former AC Milan vice-president and chief executive Andrea Galliani has shared his views on the proposed new stadium of the Rossoneri and Inter.

“I do not find anything wrong with the desire to build a new stadium from scratch. The investment of €1.2 billion will give work to many people and Milan simply cannot miss taking this opportunity,” he explained in an interview with the gathered media at this morning’s official presentation by the two clubs.

He was then asked which of the two projects between the Populous and joint Davide Manica-Cmr project he preferred and why.

“I prefer the Populous project because it makes you think about the city of Milan, while the other is more beautiful but too similar to other stadiums that exist already.”

The rendered images below show both the projects in all their glory with the Manica-Cmr project on the left and the Populous project on the right.
