Cristiano Biraghi is delighted with how he and his teammates fared in the 1-0 win over Lazio and is targeting further improvement in the coming weeks.
“I am very happy with the result first and foremost and then with my own performance. We are happy to have won a difficult match,” he told the gathered journalists in the mixed zone at San Siro,
“We must continue to work how we have been with a great desire to further improve ourselves. We have a lot of humility. We know what we must do and that our goal is to work, work and work. We are taking one game at a time.
“We will analyse what we did well and what we did not do so well. The positives we can take from this match is the character we showed and the ability to hold on to a result against a strong team.”
He also touched upon making his first appearance for Inter since returning in the Summer.
“It was an incredible feeling for me. In these past few years it has always been my goal to return here. I wanted to come back home and I am happy but now I have to think about improving.”
