Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic had his car stolen but the car has since been found according to a report from Affaritaliani.it.

The Slovenian shot-stopper, who is also the current Inter club captain’s car was stolen from the San Siro area on Wednesday night, the same night Inter took on Lazio, but the car was found this morning by Police on via Pisanello, approximately 2.5 kilometres away from San Siro. This was made possible with thanks to the tracking device installed in the 35-year-old’s vehicle.

On the night his car was stolen, Handanovic celebrated his 300th appearances for the Nerazzurri in style as he made several key saves in Inter’s 1-0 win over Lazio which stretched Inter’s perfect start to the campaign to five games.

Reports in the media in recent days and weeks state that Inter are also looking to extend Handanovic’s contract with the club past its current 2021 expiry date. As per the reports, Inter wish to extend his contract by a further season to 2022.
