Inter’s perfect start to the 2019/20 Serie A season means that manager Antonio Conte has spent 100 of the 119 rounds of Serie A action he has managed in at the top of the table, a report from La Stampa highlights.

This equals to no less than 84% of the rounds, which is a stat that very few can even think of achieving let alone being close to it. 79 of those 100 matches have been spent as the outright leader of the league.

Conte could make it 101 and 80 respectively should Inter go on to succeed in their match against basement boys Sampdoria this weekend.

As previously stated, Inter have made the perfect start, winning all five of their Serie A games to date and head into this round of action two points clear at the top of the table.

Sampdoria meanwhile find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table having managed just one win in their five games. They have the joint worse defensive record in the league having conceded 11 and have managed to score just three goals.
