Antonio Conte will revert back to a 3-5-2 formation for tomorrow’s match away to bottom of the league Sampdoria according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Conte had deployed his Inter in a 3-4-2-1 system for the 1-0 victory over Lazio midweek and the formation change will be just one of a few changes that he will make for the game.

Danilo D’Ambrosio will move into the three-man defence in place of Diego Godin whilst Antonio Candreva will fill in for him at right wing back.

Matias Vecino will be dropped after his poor performance against the Biancocelesti and Roberto Gagliardini will instead be given a chance to impress.

Matteo Politano will be dropped from the starting XI and replaced by Lautaro Martinez who will partner Romelu Lukaku up top.

Predicted Inter Starting XI (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Kwadwo Asamoah; Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku.
