Former Inter attacker Mancini has shared his disappointment at being sacked by Foggia but has shared his ambitions to find another managerial gig in Italy.

“Unfortunately, my time in charge of Foggia did not last long, but I would still like to manage in Italy in the future, a country which has given me so much. Luciano Spalletti taught me a lot about football, I try to utilise his most interesting ideas but without completely copying them,” he explained in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.

He then spoke on former employers Inter, who are currently sitting at the top of the Serie A table having won five games from five to begin the season.

“The Nerazzurri are a tough side, they have a coach who understands the game in Antonio Conte and I think that they are the best team in Serie A.”

The Brazilian, who also spent a long time with Roma in Italy, then shared his views on Napoli.

“Napoli are a team in the race for the Serie A title, they have a big team and play with a lot of heart with a manager in charge who has won everything there is to win.”
