Inter legend Sandro Mazzola has shared his views on the early season form showcased by Antonio Conte’s Inter side.
“I have already seen Inter play how Conte wants them to play and I like it. There is still some more things to be done but it is the right approach. I think Inter will do pretty well in the remainder of the league campaign,” he said in an interview with Radio Radio.
Next, he shared his views on what a partnership between Romelu Lukaku and Mauro Icardi could have looked like, had the latter not been shipped out to Paris Saint Germain on transfer deadline day.
“All the opponents of Inter would have thought about what to do with those two, it would have been a very good partnership both technically and physically.”
He concluded: “There is the fear that Inter may deflate in the race for the Scudetto but if they manage to keep this same concentration they have got, I think they can win it.”
