Inter coach Antonio Conte has no option but to rotate his XI against Sampdoria this evening with tough fixtures against Barcelona and Juventus next week, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.

Conte is set to start 20-year-old Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni ahead of experienced centre-back Diego Godin, in order to rest the former Atletico Madrid player ahead of two key matches, with Milan Skriniar moving to the right-hand side of his back three.

Stefano Sensi should return to midfield while Roberto Gagliardini is expected to replace former Cagliari star Nicolo Barella, whose strength in midfield will be key in the Nerazzurri’s two games next week.

Danilo D’Ambrosio could also appear in the starting XI tonight, with Conte trusting the 31-year-old Italian defender after a strong start to the season playing both in defence and on the right side of midfield.

Inter will be looking to maintain their 100% record in Serie A at Marassi against a Samp side who have lost four of their opening five matches.
