After Inter’s 3-1 victory over Sampdoria tonight, Nerazzurri midfielder Marcelo Brozovic spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia to analyze the match.

“The assist for Gagliardini is worth just as much as the first two goals we scored. We played a good game, perhaps we suffered a little after the red card, which was a bit excessive, but we managed to win.”

“Antonio Conte says what we have to do in training, we know what to do on the pitch and you can see it, we showed it again today.”

Brozovic then underlined that the team is now focused on the Champions League fixture against Barcelona and not on next Saturday’s clash against Juventus.

“We don’t care [about the Juventus game now], first Barcelona are waiting for us. They are one of the strongest teams in the world but we also want to show that we’re a top team.”

Inter are currently top of the league table after maintaining their perfect start to the league, with six wins in their first six games in the Serie A, including a derby win last Saturday against city rivals AC Milan. Juventus sit in second place, and are currently two points behind the Nerazzurri in the Serie A standings.
