Inter’s opponents Sampdoria won’t be at full strength this evening in their game against the Nerazzurri, according to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, although team leader Fabio Quagliarella is set to start.

Manolo Gabbiadini, who scored the winner for the Blucerchiati in their 1-0 victory over Torino last weekend, won’t start against the Nerazzurri, with last season’s capocannoniere Quagliarella instead set to lead their attack.

The 36-year-old will be the main focal point alongside 26-year-old Argentinian winger Emiliano Rigoni, who moved to Sampdoria from Zenit Saint Petersburg earlier this summer on a loan deal.

Polish midfielder Karol Linetty will also play after missing the 2-1 defeat to Fiorentina on Wednesday. 25-year-old Italian defender Alex Ferrari could feature in defence, meanwhile, despite not even appearing on the bench against the Viola due to some injury scares.

Sampdoria are currently last place in the Serie A table after an incredibly poor opening to this season’s championship.
