Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke in a press conference earlier this afternoon after Napoli’s 2-1 victory over Brescia, discussing the title race this season.
“Can Napoli, in addition to Inter, also challenge Juve? Better not to say, let’s think about the commitments we have. Wednesday’s match at the Genk’s stadium will be a fundamental Champions’ match. Inter have started the season in an extraordinary way and it’s right that they have the lights in the limelight”.
Napoli’s victory today puts them six points behind the Nerazzurri, after losses to Juventus and Cagliari earlier this month.
On the other hand, Inter are top of the table after a perfect start and next week’s crucial game against second place Juventus will decide who exits the 8th game day of the season as the league leaders.
Napoli started their Champions League campaign this season well, with a 2-0 win over European champions Liverpool at the Stadio San Paolo.
