Lazio forward Ciro Immobile spoke to Italian media outlet Sky Sports today following the Biancocelesti’s 4-0 victory over Genoa at home.

The 29-year-old Italian striker spoke of Lazio’s 1-0 defeat to Inter earlier this week.

“I have regrets for that game, we played well against a great team that will probably fight for the title until the end: we proved to be equal. Unfortunately, sometimes technique and tactics are not enough, you need to have something more to win against the big teams, but slowly we are assimilating it: sometimes we are inconsistent in results, this is the aspect we must improve.”

Inter’s victory over Lazio was one of the six consecutive wins that the Nerazzurri have achieved in the league so far this season, after a perfect start overseen by coach Antonio Conte. The Nerazzurri are currently two points ahead of second place Juventus and eight points ahead of Immobile’s Lazio.
