The 23-year-old Brazilian striker scored nine goals in seven goals to help Flamengo reach the top of the Brazilian league top, and last night’s draw still sees the club hold a four-point advantage above second place Palmeiras.
Gabigol has been exquisite since his loan move to Flamengo earlier this year, with the 23-year-old striker scoring 23 goals and providing 5 assists in 27 games for the Brazilian side. Interest in the striker has risen across Europe, with Inter keenly following the player’s progress.
There is a chance that Inter coach Antonio Conte will bring the player to the January training sessions following the expiry of his loan move at the end of the year, with the player’s performances being judged to see whether he should be sold or remain with the Nerazzurri.
