Former AC Milan defender Alessandro Costacurta has shared his thoughts on Inter’s attack and whether he thinks Inter are now the favourites for the Serie A title after their perfect start to the league season.
“I like Inter’s attacking partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, Antonio Conte has always wanted those kind of strikers,” he said in an interview with Sky Sport show Sky Calcio Club.
He then spoke on the differences between Juventus’ star midfielder Miralem Pjanic and Inter’s star midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
“Pjanic is much better when it comes to attacking however Brozovic is better at keeping a hold of the ball and does not commit the same amount of fouls as him.”
He was then asked whether he thinks Inter’s early season form is evidence of Inter being the favourites for the Serie A title.
“I still think that Juventus are favourites for the title though.”
