Former Inter striker Antonio Cassano is of the belief that Inter manager Antonio Conte is more focused upon Sunday’s Derby D’Italia with Juventus over Wednesday night’s Champions League group stage clash with Barcelona.

“Juve is one of the strongest teams in Europe and three times stronger than Inter. Conte’s arrival, however, balanced the situation out. Inter have many good players and a top manager whilst Juve has a good coach and many top players on the field,” he said in an interview with Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka.

“I do not think that Conte cares about the match against Barcelona. He would prefer to win against Juventus. He will say that his side will play the game of their lives against Barcelona but really he will be thinking about the Juventus match.”

Cassano also shared his views on Alexis Sanchez and whether he thinks he will be the regular starter once he serves his suspension.

“Sanchez? If he plays well, he will play alongside Romelu Lukaku. At Arsenal he was absolutely devastating.”
