The most important week of Inter’s season so far has now began with the Nerazzurri set to face Barcelona and then Juventus according to a report from Il Giornale.

The match against Barcelona is fundamental for Inter, who did not get their Champions League campaign off to the best of starts as they drew with Slavia Prague in the first match.

Whilst Juventus play tomorrow night against Bayer Leverkusen, and do so at home, Inter face Barcelona away from home and do not do so until Wednesday meaning they have a day less than their rivals to prepare for Sunday’s first Derby D’Italia of the season.

Sunday’s match will see Inter come up against Paulo Dybala, a player they showed a keen interest in signing during the Summer. The Argentine has not played anywhere near as much as expected but Il Giornale detail that he should start at San Siro.

The report goes on to detail what Conte’s secret weapon is.

“Conte’s secret is not Lukaku, it is not the fact that his side have the best defence in the league beaten but a midfield where everyone – excluding Matias Vecino – has already found the back of the net.”
