Antonio Conte could equal a record set by legendary manager Helenio Herrera if he is to beat Juventus in Inter’s next Serie A match according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Conte has lead Inter to six victories in six matches in the league and a win would put him level with Herrera, who lead his Inter side of 1966/67 to seven straight league wins to begin the season.

The report from the Rome based news outlet does however go on to state that seven straight wins to start the season is definitely not a guarantee when it comes to winning the Scudetto come may.

Herrera’s Inter side went on to miss out on the title to Juventus and have not been the only side in recent times to do it.

In 2013/14, Rudi Garcia lead his Roma side to a Serie A record 10 straight wins but the Giallorossi missed out to Juventus. Two seasons ago Napoli managed seven straight wins but lost out to the Bianconeri also.
