Italian journalist and known Inter fan Leonildo ‘Leo’ Turrini believes that his beloved Nerazzurri are not the favourites for this weekend’s first Derby D’Italia of the season against arch-rivals Juventus despite the fact they have made the perfect start to the 2019/20 league campaign.

Firstly however, Turrini praised Inter for the way they held themselves together despite going down to 10 men after Alexis Sanchez was sent off in Saturday’s win away to Sampdoria.

“I expected a lot from manager Antonio Conte. Inter, rather than collapsing against Sampdoria after the sending off, made it 3-1,” he said in an interview with Sky Sport show Sky Calcio Club.

Turrini then spoke on Sunday’s match with Juventus.

“They have not played a game like Sunday’s for 10 years. Juventus are always the favourites for this match. They have so much depth that allows them to field two different teams and that can make a real difference.
