Legendary Inter goalkeeper Walter Zenga insists that Inter must not get distracted by Sunday’s first Derby D’Italia of the season with them having to face Barcelona beforehand.

“There is another commitment on Wednesday and Inter must think game by game. They will face the problem that is Juventus later on,” Zenga explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

“I think that Romelu Lukaku will play against Barcelona. He is a player that if physically and mentally well, should be playing.”

Zenga, who holds the record number of appearances for an Inter goalkeeper, then discussed an advantage that Juventus have over Inter heading into this weekend’s clash at San Siro.

“It must be pointed out that Inter are playing a day later than Juventus and are doing so away from home so the Bianconeri will have an extra 24-36 hours to assess any problems and recover compared to Inter and the quality of their recovery will have a big affect.”
