Lionel Messi will decide whether he feels good enough or not to play against Inter in the coming hours according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Argentine picked up a thigh strain in Barcelona’s recent league win over Villarreal and has been a serious doubt for the match at Camp Nou tonight.

He trained alongside his Blaugrana teammates yesterday ahead of tonight’s match. As things stand, Messi’s intentions are seemingly to start on the bench and perhaps come on for the last half hour or so of the match, dependent on how the game is going.

Whilst Messi could feature, one player who won’t feature is Romelu Lukaku. Inter manager Antonio Conte confirmed in yesterday’s pre-match press conference that the Belgian has been carrying a muscle problem for the past week and a half.

Whilst he could have played, the report goes on to state that Inter did not want to take any chances ahead of this weekend’s match against Juventus.
