Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has promised Inter manager a big signing in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Following the defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League group stage last night, Inter management have been left thinking perhaps more could have been done.
For this reason, they have already began the process of looking at potential signings for the January transfer window in order to strengthen the team further.
Inter are particularly looking to add a player to their midfield and Marotta has three names in mind although everything will depend on how Inter fare in offloading some players.
The Nerazzurri will attempt to offload both Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa and Borja Valero in the coming months and could raise in excess of €30 million or so through their respective sales. Gabigol, who recently received a Brazilian national team call-up, alone is valued at €30 million by the club
