Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez believes that Inter, Juventus and Napoli will be the three sides who will contest for the Serie A title this season.
“Like many people I watched Serie A on television and knew that it was a very tactical and intense league to play in before I came here,” he explained in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Everything is very thought out in this league and I like it. I believe that Inter, Juventus and Napoli are the three strongest teams and they will be the sides that fight for the title.”
The Argentine midfielder, who arrived at the Sardinian club from Boca Juniors in the Summer, then spoke on being handed the number 18 shirt, which previously belonged to Nicolo Barella, who left Cagliari for Inter in the Summer.
“Barella is a great player and he was very important to the club. The president wanted me to wear this number. He cared about me.”
