Inter Striker Lautaro Martinez To Lead The Nerazzurri’s Attack Against Juventus Tomorrow

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will start against Juventus tomorrow, with the Argentinian forward set to take on more offensive responsibilities due to the suspension of Alexis Sanchez and the fitness levels of Romelu Lukaku, according to Rome based newspaper il Corriere dello Sport.

The 22-year-old striker scored the only goal for the Nerazzurri in their 2-1 defeat to Barcelona in their Champions League clash earlier this week, being one of the brightest stars in the Nerazzurri squad.

The Nerazzurri, who have no issues creating chances, need to work on their finishing, which was obvious in the Champions League defeat. Despite mostly dominating the Blaugrana in the first half, their failure to hit the net more cost them in the second half thanks to the performances of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Lautaro Martinez, who only scored nine goals last season for Inter, knows that he must be more clinical in front of goal this season for the Nerazzurri, but his performances since the summer, especially with the Argentinian national team, show that he’s aware of what must be done.
