Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has praised Inter for the way in which they have began the Serie A campaign ahead of this weekend’s Derby D’Italia.
“It is difficult to talk about who is favourites for Inter-Juve. For sure Inter have started the season in a great way. It was reasonable to expect that this would happen with thanks to the arrival of Antonio Conte as manager who has put together a great team,” Bonucci explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
The central defender then explained what he is expecting of himself and his teammates at San Siro on Sunday night,
“We will go to Milan and want to put in a great performance because you need to do that to achieve a positive result at the end of the match. I am sure that we will see a great Juventus that will go there to bring home the three points.”
