Romelu Lukaku only partly trained with his Inter teammates yesterday ahead of tomorrow’s first Derby D’Italia of the season according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Belgian forward missed Inter’s match away to Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek due to a muscle problem that he had been playing through but he missed the match as he did not wish to turn what isn’t something too serious into something more serious.

The doubts surrounding Lukaku’s availability may or may not be cleared up at training today but the report goes on to explain that the feeling is that the 26-year-old should be available for tomorrow night’s match at San Siro.

Lukaku has made seven appearances for the Nerazzurri since his arrival from Manchester United in a club record transfer deal this Summer. In 542 minutes on the park he has contributed three goals to date, including a goal in his first Milan derby appearance.
