Inter coach Antonio Conte doesn’t want to take any risks with striker Romelu Lukaku, but still plans to deploy the 26-year-old Belgian forward against Juventus tomorrow, according to Milano based newspaper la Gazzetta dello Sport.

The former Manchester United forward, who missed the Nerazzurri’s midweek Champions League clash against Barcelona due to muscle fatigue, has spent both Wednesday and Thursday this week training alone, before joining the squad yesterday in training briefly. Today he will train with his teammates fully in order to check whether or not he will be fit for the Derby d’Italia tomorrow.

The player’s recovery was vital for Conte, who is without Alexis Sanchez due to his suspension against Sampdoria last weekend. Lukaku, who has scored three goals so far this season for the Nerazzurri, will lead Inter’s attack against Juventus alongside Argentinian international Lautaro Martinez. The only doubt in the rest of the squad is whether Conte will deploy Danilo D’Ambrosio or Antonio Candreva on the right side of midfield.

Probable Inter line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan De Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Kwadwo Asamoah; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
