Tonight’s Derby d’Italia will be a match between Inter coach Antonio Conte and Juventus, according to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, with more than 16 years of history between the pair.

The 50-year-old Italian was involved in 520 matches for the Bianconeri between his time as a coach and a player, winning five league titles as a player there and three as a manager. Today’s game will be the first time the Inter coach has faced his former team in the league, with some Bianconeri fans calling for the Nerazzurri coach to lose his star outside their stadium, the Allianz Stadium.

However, Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri has given nothing but respect to Conte, discussing the challenge ahead of the Bianconeri tonight against one of the most respected managers in world football.

Conte’s work transforming Inter over the past three months has convinced many of his abilities as a leader, with some predicting a league title for the Nerazzurri simply due to their coach.
