Inter hold an advantage over Juventus in numbers by a slight margin, according to Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

The Nerazzurri have the best defence in the championship so far this season, only conceding two goals in six games since the start of the season, the lowest number amongst all teams in the top five leagues in Europe.

Inter goalkeeper and captain Samir Handanovic was already considered one of the best shot stoppers in Europe last season but now he is racing ahead of the rest, with the 35-year-old Slovenian saving 70 shots so far.

Juventus, on the other hand, have suffered two more shots on goal than the Nerazzurri, 72, and have conceded five goals, three more than the Nerazzurri – three against Napoli, one against Brescia and one against Verona.

The Bianconeri also have a scored less than the Nerazzurri so far this season, only scoring 11 goals out of 96 shots on target compared to Inter’s 13 goals out of 106 shots on target.
