Inter defender Milan Skriniar spoke to Italian media outlet Sky Sports tonight after the Nerazzurri’s disappointing 2-1 defeat to Juventus.

“Tonight, as in Barcelona, we played quite well but not amazing. We kept the ball, created opportunities, even if we didn’t score. Juve are strong, we knew that; we still need to improve in many ways but that’s what’s good too, we need to look ahead. I think we need to be more aggressive near our area, because Juve and Barça were very dangerous in that area. We need to be more attached to the man.”

Inter’s loss tonight against the Bianconeri sees them drop to second place in the league table, with the Bianconeri rising above them to first place, one point ahead of Antonio Conte’s squad.

The Nerazzurri’s next league game is against Sassuolo in two weeks’ time, on 20th October, after the upcoming international break. The Bianconeri’s next game is against Bologna.
