Inter Striker Romelu Lukaku Fit Enough To Start Against Juventus Tonight

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will almost certainly start for the Nerazzurri tonight in their game against Juventus, according to Italian media outlet Sky Sports.

Although there is still no official confirmation, the 26-year-old former Manchester United forward has been rumoured to start in the game tonight following his return to squad training yesterday morning.

Inter coach Antonio Conte will be forced to take a risk with Lukaku’s fitness due to the suspension of Alexis Sanchez, who was sent off against Sampdoria last week.

The 26-year-old Belgian striker will be playing alongside 22-year-old Argentinian forward Lautaro Martinez, fresh from his goal against Barcelona in the Champions League earlier this week.

Lukaku’s fitness levels have been closely monitored by the Nerazzurri staff following an issue of muscle fatigue that forced him to miss the team’s trip to the Camp Nou earlier this week, but the club are confident that his physical condition is satisfactory for tonight’s game.
