Inter midfielder Valentino Lazaro’s agent Max Hagmayr spoke exclusively to Italian media outlet FcInterNews yesterday about his client ahead of the Nerazzurri’s game against Juventus tonight.

“I often come to Milan to see Inter’s home games. Or in your country to meet the insiders who gravitate in the world of football. You know, I work in various league’s, the German, Austrian and Premier League. It would be nice to continue to do business for Serie A or Serie B, where I have various players, such as Mert Müldür of Sassuolo or Robert Gucher of Pisa. I must say that now many Austrian players, and not only them, particularly appreciate Italy, the style of play and your championships.”

Hagmayr spoke about his client, Lazaro, and his physical condition.

“Physically he’s fine, I think he’s ready. But he has to work hard to get his chance and show his skills. Of course, he was unlucky in the summer, he got injured in the pre-season preparations. But this is the past, now let’s think about the future.”

He spoke of Lazaro’s playing time with the Austrian national team.

“Now Austria will have two very important matches for the European qualifications, those against Israel and Slovenia. And it should be another opportunity to see Valentino at work.”

Hagmayr then touched on the 23-year-old Austrian international’s thoughts about the start of his adventure in Italy.

“I’ve known him since he was 16. So, we really talk about everything. But I trust you that he’s told me he’s proud and happy to have signed for Inter. The same goes for his coach. Lazaro knows he has to work hard, but he’s sure Conte will take him to a higher level.”

“And he’s looking forward to walking onto the pitch. You know, the style of the Italian league is different from the German one. So, Valentino will want to give his all to fit in better. But we are sure that in the end everyone will be satisfied with the decision made. As I told you before, Lazaro is now working to get his chance. Then when he takes advantage of it, he’ll try to become a regular starter of the team.”

However, the Agent wasn’t sure whether his client would be starting for the Nerazzurri soon.

“It’s Hard to say when he will get his chance. Now there’s Juve and then the International break. For Valentino it will be important to defend the colours of Austria, but it would have been equally important to train with Conte. Just to understand even more what Conte wants from him and to show what the coach what he is capable of.”

Finally, Hagmayr spoke of tomorrow’s Derby d’Italia against Juventus.

“I believe that the Nerazzurri will challenge the Bianconeri until the end to win the title. Even if Napoli are frightening. And I’m sure that Valentino will be able to help his team in a decisive way to reach their final goal, at least this is our idea.”
