Despite suffering their first league loss of the season last night against Juventus, former Inter striker Antonio Cassano still believes that Inter can win the Serie A title this season.

“The result has not made me change my mind, I saw less of a gap between Juventus and Inter although the Bianconeri still showed that they are much stronger. I shall keep saying that Inter will win the Scudetto,” he said in an interview with Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka.

He then spoke on Inter midfielders Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi, the latter of which was forced to leave the field of play during the first half.

“In normal games Barella and Sensi make the difference, in these games you need to have champions: they can grow, but you need high level players for these games.

He also reflected on Inter’s performance against Barcelona: “Inter played well, they created a lot of chances but Luis Suarez is an animal and then there was Lionel Messi too.”
