Inter defender Milan Skriniar spoke to Italian talk show Tiki Taka about the squad’s disappointing 2-1 defeat to Juventus last night.

“We started badly, we conceded early. Juventus are perhaps more mature than us, especially in handling the ball. Maybe that’s the difference between us and them, they know when to keep the ball and when to attack.”

The Nerazzurri suffered their first championship loss of the season last night, after the Bianconeri’s 2-1 victory. Juventus are now top of the league table, one point ahead of Antonio Conte’s squad.

The Nerazzurri also lost two key members to injury during the game, Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi and Uruguayan defender Diego Godin. The club will assess the extent of the duo’s injuries over the coming days, with the upcoming international break providing adequate time to fully examine both players’ physical conditions.

Inter’s next game is against Sassuolo on 20th October, following the international break.
