Inter defender Milan Skriniar spoke to Italian media outlet InterTV last night following the Nerazzurri’s disappointing 2-1 loss to Juventus.

“There are still many games to play. We lost today, we’re sorry, I think we did pretty well. Then there’s something to improve, when we come back after the break, we’ll talk about it. We don’t lack mentality, maybe we’re lacking in understanding the timing of the game, when to attack, when to press, when to wait.”

“We have to improve ourselves there, and we will certainly do so. Conte also wants us to play out from the back, today we reacted very well to the pressure.”

The Nerazzurri are currently second in the league table after their loss to the Bianconeri and are one point behind the Turin based club. Inter’s next league game is against Sassuolo after the international break, allowing Conte to work on improvements over the next two weeks.
