Wanda Icardi, the wife, and agent, of Mauro Icardi, shared some brief thoughts on how Inter got on in their 2-1 defeat to Juventus in last night’s first Derby D’Italia of the season.

“We saw Inter-Juventus, of course. In the first half it seemed that Inter had to do something more,” she remarked as she appeared in her usual role as panellist on Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka.

“He is not missing playing in the Derby D’Italia, you are missing him. You are missing him in the league and the Champions League.”

She also touched upon the recent goal-scoring success that the 26-year-old has had at his new club, who he joined on a season long loan deal from Inter on transfer deadline day.

“In Turkey PSG won 1-0 with thanks to a goal from Mauro. It was a difficult game, but it went well. It was a good week  for him because he also scored his first goal in the league, which came against the second-placed team.
