Journalist Fabrizio Biasin has reflected upon Inter’s 2-1 loss, their first in Serie A this season, in this past weekend’s Derby D’Italia against arch-rivals Juventus.
“Inter lost for a simple reason, it is as trivial as it comes but it was nevertheless decisive: they are not as strong as Juventus and are several years behind them,” he wrote in an editorial for Tutto Mercato Web.
“Juventus are a team made up of only top players. Inter lost because they played an imperfect game and perhaps even had they played a perfect match it still would not have been enough.
“Conte said it best a few days ago. In order for Inter to compete with Juventus, it is necessary for them to not make any mistakes and Juventus must have problems of their own.”
