Inter are already planning which moves they wish to make in the January transfer window but for the time being Antonio Conte will have to do with what he has got according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Nerazzurri bosses have identified one or two players who could add to Conte’s side, which has little in the way of solid rotation options – something that was evident in the defeats against Barcelona and Juventus.

Rotation has been limited at this early stage of the season, mainly down to the fact several players who did arrive, arrived out of condition and were not considered to be ready, namely Valentino Lazaro, Cristiano Biraghi and Alexis Sanchez.

Furthermore, the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that the gulf in quality between Inter’s starters and rotation options has further limited rotation. This is particularly the case for Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini, who are not at the same level as the likes of Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella.

Conte is expecting growth from a lot of players between now and January, even from some established starters, such as Milan Skriniar.

Conte is also hoping that Summer recruits Diego Godin and Romelu Lukaku get back to their respective best’s as soon as possible.

Godin has struggled in each of Inter’s last two matches playing on the right-hand side of a three man defence so Conte will try him in the centre of it in the next match. As for Lukaku, despite a promising start, a few injury problems have meant he has not been so effective as of late.
