Former Inter defender Andrea Mandorlini has shared his views on where Inter are at in comparison to arch-rivals Juventus, who won the first Derby D’Italia of the season between the clubs this past weekend.
“This year Juventus wins again. They played an excellent game and is even stronger than Inter and many other teams. Much of the merit of Inter is due to Antonio Conte, who has managed to change the mentality of the team. Juventus are currently unrivalled,” he said in an interview with Radio CRC.
Mandorlini, who is currently the manager of Cremonese, then heaped praise on Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri and made his prediction for who will cause Juventus most problems.
“Maurizio Sarri is doing well at Juventus, although he had some problems at the beginning. Changing managers to one with another mentality is never easy, but he has a strong team at his disposal. Napoli, despite Inter, will be the team that will give Juventus the most trouble.”
