Thomas Muller has asked to leave Bayern Munich in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from German news outlet BILD.
The German has spent his entire career on the books of the Bavarian club and has made no less than 495 first-team appearances but a reduction in playing time this season has led to the 30-year-old seeking a future away from the Allianz Arena.
Muller is under contract with the German powerhouses through to the end of next season and was expected to see his contract out before embarking on a new adventure elsewhere but things have changed and he wants out as soon as possible.
The 30-year-old attacker, who has scored 186 goals in his time at Bayern, was seemingly subject to an enquiry from Inter back at the end of last season and now it remains to be seen whether or not the Nerazzurri will go back in for the 2014 World Cup winner or not.
