Inter manager Antonio Conte has not let the back-to-back defeats to Barcelona and Juventus take anything away from the work he has carried out during his short tenure in charge of Inter so far according to a report from Rome based news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

Conte remains completely convinced in the work he has carried out with the squad so far, particularly with the defence, which has only got better from last year when Luciano Spalletti was in charge with thanks to the addition of Diego Godin.

Inter have one of the best defensive records not only in Serie A but across Europe too having conceded just four goals in league action and three in the Champions League.

Inter’s best back three of Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and the aforementioned Godin have conceded just one league goal so far this season. The other three goals came when this trio were not playing alongside one another.
