Former Inter midfielder Gaby Mudingayi believes Inter have what it takes to be able to compete at the top of the Serie A table for the title this season.

“They have all the credentials to fight for the Scudetto until the end, you can never say never in football,” the Belgian, who spent two years with Inter between 2012 and 2014, explained in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web.

“Juventus have been winning for years and know how to prepare for certain situations but Inter have a very strong manager in Antonio Conte, althought it will take some time to make some things right.”

Mudingayi proceeded to heap praise onto Inter Summer recruits Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella, who have both got life in Nerazzurri off to a good start.

“Sensi has really amazed me, everything Inter does goes through him. Barella has so much quality. He is doing great things and will be an important player for this Inter side.”
