Inter have contacted the representatives of Ivan Rakitic regarding a possible January transfer move according to a report from Tuttosport.

Rakitic is understood to be unhappy with his current situation having been forced to settle for far less playing time than he would like whilst relations with manager Ernesto Valverde are believed to have broken down too.

The Croatian drew interest from Inter, PSG Juventus and Manchester United during the Summer transfer window but rejected them due to being convinced of his chances of playing an important part for the Blaugrana this season.

Barcelona previously valued him at €50 million but as per the report, they would now be willing to offload the former Schalke man for just €30 million.

Inter could near enough raise all those funds through the sale of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa. Inter are understood to value him at €25-30 million and is believed to have interest in his services from some European clubs.
